About HTML to App

We make tools that turn web code into Android apps — for people whose product is already HTML.

Why it exists

An enormous amount of useful software is written in HTML: calculators, quizzes, course notes, internal tools, menus, portfolios, and thousands of HTML5 games. Getting any of it onto a phone as a real app has traditionally meant Android Studio, Gradle, a keystore and a weekend. We think that should take minutes and need nothing but the HTML.

What we make

HTML to App is the web home of two free Android apps: HTML & ZIP to APK Builder, which packages HTML files, ZIPs and HTML5 games into signed APKs and AABs, and Website to App, which turns a live website URL into an app. Both share one account and one Pro plan, and build in the same cloud pipeline. This site adds what the apps cannot: in-depth guides, free browser utilities and honest comparisons.

How we write the guides

Answer first. Every page answers its question in the first paragraph.
Tested on the real runtime. Claims about what works inside an app — storage, modules, permissions, links — describe the actual app our builder produces.
Honest about limits. If something does not work in a WebView, we say so and give the workaround — or recommend a different tool.
Dated. Store policies change; pages show when they were last updated.
